The teen years were exactly as you describe—the best years of the parenting child relationship. Overview of Course…
The Growing Kids God’s Way Series 5th edition (1996) DVDs and Workbook was the first major parenting course written for the Christian community, and has since served over two million households. While the years have passed, and fashions have changed, the principles contained within remain timeless. The curriculum serves parents of pre-schoolers through the middle years.
I just wanted to write and let you know that as a single Mom, I love the fact that I could sit through a class without feeling judged, pitied or ashamed. No sting, no condemnation, no threats of insecurity, but a lot of sweet support, encourement and practical teaching. Now, the class has become my community—my second pair of eyes; my extended family. All this because I stepped into a Growing Kids God’s Way class.

In one of the early lessons, Gary Ezzo talked about a family pulling up to a friends house, only to see the window shades slipping down and the house lights turning off. Yup, that was our family. Before GKGW, we were simply oblivious to how uninviting our family was. The class changed all of that. The best part of this story is now, other people actually like spending time with our kids, and so do we.
